Best Cafes in Uluwatu and Bingin
Searching for the best cafes in Uluwatu and Bingin? From open-air brunch pavilions to modern coffee bars with Bali-chic style, this guide covers the top spots to eat, sip, and unwind. Each café has its own unique charm—some are perfect for a beachy breakfast, others for cooling off in the afternoon with a cold brew and ocean breeze.
1. Chela

The quintessential Bali-vibe café. An open-air pavilion with stunning architecture lets the Bali breeze greet you as you dine. Their menu is ideal for breakfast or brunch, full of both healthy and delicious options.
Must Try: The Mezze Plate — perfect if you want to sample different bites at brunch.
Location: Jl. Pantai Bingin No. 03, Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia. Mapstr+2Bali Ready+2
2. Artisan
I was obsessed with this place — went several times during my trip. Modern industrial meets Bali charm. It has a large indoor area with air conditioning (a lifesaver in the heat), plus work-friendly spaces. Brunch and dinner both hit the mark.
Must Try: For brunch, go for the Burrata-Ta — a unique twist on eggs and toast. And don’t skip the smoothies (I was a fan of the “Mang-ito”).
Location: ARTISAN is on Jl. Pantai Labuansait Suluban, Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361. Also another site in Ungasan on Jl. Raya Uluwatu, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Selatan, Badung Regency. balibestplaces.com+4Wanderlog+4Bali Ready+4
3. Salty Coffee

Such a cute and aesthetic spot! I stumbled on this one and felt immediately welcomed with an afternoon cup of coffee. The decor is beachy and bohemian. Perfect if you’re after some Instagram-worthy vibes and friendly service.
Must Try: Any of their coffees — I ordered an iced latte and it was delicious.

4. The Beach House by Ours

Probably one of the most beautiful cafés I have ever been to. It perches directly on the cliffs of Bingin Beach, overlooking the ocean. Yes, there’s a walk down (and the climb back up ~300 stairs), but the views are so worth it. Bohemian vibes + great food + unforgettable views. Pro tip: reserve (WhatsApp works), ask for a table by the water. They often have a minimum spend (around US$90) but between food and drinks with views, that fills up fast.
Must Try: (You mentioned but didn’t fill in — maybe something seafood-based to pair with the view? I’ll suggest in the edit below.)
Location: Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia — directly on Bingin Beach cliffs. The Beach By Ours+3Wanderlog+3The Beach By Ours+3
5. Alchemy & % Arabica

These two spots next to each other are perfect if you want a healthy lunch or a caffeine fix in the afternoon. Alchemy is open-air, serving clean, nourishing food. I loved their build-your-own salad bowl — light but satisfying. Then % Arabica is great for artisan coffee with boho vibes.
Must Try: Build your own salad bowl at Alchemy; iced coffee at % Arabica.
Location: They are located at Jl. Bingin Beach No. 8, Pecatu, Kec. Kuta Selatan, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia. Tiff.Food.Travel+2Lokasi Bali+2
6. The Deli

Okay, this isn’t technically a café, but it’s so good. If you want a quick casual breakfast or lunch before heading to the beach, this is your place. Their ingredients are super fresh, and the sandwiches come out hot. The crispy mortadella sandwich? Unique. Also their fried chicken sandwich is another favorite.
Must Try: Fried chicken sandwich or the crispy mortadella with that umami sauce.
Location: There are a few “Deli / Deli Sandwich / The Deli” spots — one of them is Deli Canggu: Jl. Nelayan No. 73c, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Badung, Bali, Indonesia.
