Today on the podcast, I want to give you an overview of what we cover in the masterclass – how to create consistent sales online without creating consistent content.

But, today, I’m going to share some of the common mistakes that I see people making when it comes to creating consistent sales online, and what might actually be holding them back from doing so.

Of course, in the masterclass I go into a lot more depth, but I wanted to recap the BIG one!

So, one of the biggest mistakes that I see people making online, especially if they want to make more sales, is that they don’t have a sales process in place that actually allows them to turn a follower into a customer.

Does this sound familiar? You spend all day creating content for your IG account. You batch your IG grid posts, you plan it all out in Planoly, you record fun reels, you show up on IG stories, you engage with new people, you use all the right hashtags…and honestly the list can go on and on, right…because there is SO much that you can be doing on Instagram.

However, have you ever felt like you are doing ALL the right things, yet you are still not getting any results? You are not getting any people to purchase your offers or get on sales calls with you?

I know exactly how frustrating that is because I used to be there too! I felt like I was spending HOURS creating content and spending even more hours posting and engaging and doing all the work on Instagram – but at the end of the day my bank account was still empty. And, honestly, my cup was empty too..I was getting super burned out. 

So the problem is that, yes, content is 100 percent necessary for your business. However, in order to make SALES you need a content strategy AND a sales strategy on the backend.

Think of it like this. Your content strategy is the gas and your sales strategy is the car. In order to get to where you want to go, you need both the car and the fuel. You can’t just have one without the other.

And that’s where so many people are going wrong. They don’t think they need a sales process, but if you are looking for FREEDOM in your business, you need a sales process to go along with all of that amazing content you are putting out into the world, because if you don’t have that sales process or sales funnel….well, you aren’t actually converting leads into sales or followers into buyers.

And don’t get me wrong, creating content is super important! However, when it comes to content, you also want to make sure that you are following a strategy that actually allows you to generate leads from your content.

If you are putting out content just to check off a box and say that you posted something on Instagram…that is honestly just wasting your time. Every piece of content should serve a purpose for your business, otherwise, why spend your precious time creating it?
